Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to the information you share on griffengurzi.com. The site belongs to Griffen Gurzi, a tattoo artist. "I" and "me" below mean Griffen.

What I collect

The booking form asks for your name, email address, the city you want to book in, a description of your tattoo idea, and the dates you're available. You can also add a phone number, placement, size, budget, notes, and up to 5 reference photos. Your browser re-saves each photo as a smaller copy before it's sent, and the copy leaves out the location data a phone camera stores inside the file.

When you visit any page, the hosting provider's servers record technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you load. That's standard for every website, and it's used to keep the site running and secure.

How I use it

Your booking request arrives as an email in my inbox. I use it to answer you, plan your tattoo and schedule your appointment. The site doesn't save your request in a database, and I don't use your information for advertising or sell it to anyone.

Services that handle your information

• Vercel hosts the site and runs the booking form.
• Resend delivers the booking form's email to my inbox.
• Google hosts that inbox (Gmail). Google also provides the map on the homepage, which loads from Google when you view it.
• Cloudflare runs the spam check on the booking form. It looks at signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address, to tell a person from an automated script. The site doesn't send Cloudflare anything you type into the form.

Each of these companies processes information under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. It remembers whether you picked the light or dark theme in your browser's local storage, and that setting never leaves your device. The Google map and the Cloudflare spam check can set their own cookies when they load. Because the site doesn't track you, it has nothing to switch off when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

How long I keep it

Booking emails stay in my inbox for as long as I need them to schedule and keep a record of your appointment. Ask me and I'll delete yours. Resend, which delivers the email, keeps its own copy for a limited time under its retention policy and then deletes it.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email griffengtattoo@gmail.com and I'll reply within 30 days. Some states give you further rights over your personal information, and I'll honor any request those laws cover.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
